Frontier Ambulance is proud to present a FREE emergency medical responder course open to any community member. The April 15 course will be held on the Wind River Reservation at the Wind River Hotel & Casino.
EMR Certification prepares you for a Nationally Registered certification in basic life support wound care and hemorrhage control and the ability to manage traumatic injuries. EMR Certification and experience allows you to respond to emergencies in your community of family, friends and neighbors. Anyone can be a first responder.
No previous medical or EMS experience required!
WHEN
Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6-9 p.m. with a skills lab on a predetermined Saturday.

COST
Frontier Ambulance will cover 100% of the cost of the training and the EMR certification – including all course materials and testing fees! Attendees will be responsible for travel to and from the training site.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a High School diploma or GED
- Be 17 years of age
- No previous EMS experience required!
Description
Our EMR Course follows the National Standard Curriculum as defined by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (www.nremt.org). This course has been approved through the Wyoming State Office of EMS. Upon successful completion of our program, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to pass both the cognitive and psychomotor exams for and EMR certification. EMR Certification prepares you for a Nationally Registered certification in basic life support wound care and hemorrhage control and the ability to manage traumatic injuries. EMR Certification and experience allows you to respond to emergencies in your community of family, friends and neighbors. This course is free and open to any community member interest in serving their community.
